These two Muslim countries were jumping together, then India got a new friend, now there will be a blast!
New Delhi: Relations between Pakistan and Turkey have improved in recent years, which has also seen improvements in relations between India and Greece. Relations between India and Pakistan have been historically tense and there is also a long-standing dispute between Türkiye and Greece. This situation has strengthened Pakistan-Türkiye relations, while also naturally deepening Greece-India relations. India's growing economic strength could be beneficial for Greece and both countries could benefit from it.
Pakistan conducted naval exercises with Türkiye
Pakistan has sent its fleet to the eastern Mediterranean to participate in a major naval exercise with Turkey. The exercise aims to establish control over Greece's maritime territory and the Greek islands of the eastern Aegean. Turkish planes also violated Greece's airspace, after which relations between Greece and India have strengthened. This gives Greece a strong economic and military ally.
India got support from Greece
The growing close relations between Pakistan and Türkiye are impacting the regional balance of power. On one hand there is the Pakistan-Turkey alliance, while on the other hand Greece has got a strong partner like India. India's growing economic strength is making its relations with Greece more important and Greece hopes that this partnership will bring economic benefits. This development reflects a complex game of geopolitical strategies, in which regional dominance and economic interests play an important role.
aksas ports visited
Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Yamama visited Golchuk and Aksas ports, Turkey, where she took part in naval exercise “Mavi Watan” (Blue Homeland). The exercise is part of Türkiye's expansionist goal of annexing Greece's eastern Aegean islands. This clearly shows the Pakistan-Türkiye partnership, in which Pakistan supports Türkiye's neo-Ottoman imperialist approach.
Military relations deepened
Pakistan has maintained a hostile attitude towards Greece, which has led to further deepening of military ties between Greece and India. General Dimitrios Choupis, Chief of the Greek National Defense General Staff, visited India in April 2024 and signed the Greece-India Military Cooperation Agreement with India.
