‘They are only concerned about Muslims…’, CM Yogi cornered opposition parties, political temperature rises
CM Yogi Pilibhit Rally Attack: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Pilibhit on Monday, where his very aggressive and tough style was seen. In a grand program organized at Patrasa Kunwarpur village of Barkheda assembly constituency, CM Yogi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 66 development projects costing Rs 569.11 crore. Along with the gift of this development, he handed over land ownership certificates (land leases) to about two and a half thousand displaced families living here for years. Addressing a huge public meeting organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister fired sharp political arrows at Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress. He clearly alleged that SP and Congress are not worried about the country but only about the Muslims.
As soon as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took the stage, he started his address with full energy and deafening chants of Lord Shri Ram. Congratulating the public, he said that today Bisalpur and Barkheda assembly constituencies are getting a big gift of development projects worth about Rs 600 crore. After this, while referring to the displaced people, the Chief Minister said that about 55-56 years ago, these victimized families, who were tortured and bloodthirsty and were expelled from Bangladesh (then East Pakistan), were brought to Pilibhit and rehabilitated. Now these families have not only got the rights to the land, but they have also got Indian citizenship. CM Yogi said emotionally that this is a new life for these people and after getting this government certificate, no power in the world can drive them out of here. Now no one in the country will be able to call them strangers and these families have got an excellent platform to preserve their glorious heritage.
Strongly targeted the ‘history and sins’ of Congress
In the next part of his speech, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath turned the pages of history and put the Congress party in the dock. Referring to the then circumstances, he directly blamed Congress for the circumstances leading to the creation of East Pakistan i.e. today’s Bangladesh. According to the Chief Minister, this was entirely the dreadful result of the misdeeds and sins of the Congress.
CM Yogi said in a strong tone that at that time the partition of India happened only because of the greed for power and hunger for power of some leaders. He roared from the stage and said that if the top leadership of the Congress had remained firm on its words at that time and had taken a tough stand, then the partition of united India would never have happened. Jinnah had died his own death, but due to the weakness of Congress at that time, lakhs of innocent Hindus were brutally massacred and they had to flee their centuries-old ancestral land forever. After this sharp statement of CM Yogi, the stir in the political corridors of Uttar Pradesh has intensified.
