1. Serious allegation on BJP of ‘spreading hatred’

Stalin, while addressing a public meeting, made a strong attack on the ideology of BJP:

Violence and hate speech: The Chief Minister said that BJP only promotes those issues which create division in the society. He alleged that their leaders often resort to ‘hate speech’ and statements inciting violence.

Communal Harmony: Stalin claimed that the ‘Dravidian model’ government of Tamil Nadu believes in peace and harmony, which the BJP is trying to spoil.

2. Called NDA-AIADMK alliance a ‘comedy’

Stalin quipped on reports of ongoing tussle and alliance between AIADMK and NDA:

The Chief Minister stressed that the people of Tamil Nadu will not accept politics being run from Delhi.

State Rights: He also accused the central government of violating the rights of the states and imposing linguistic imposition (Hindi).

Development Claim: Enumerating the achievements of his government, Stalin said that Tamil Nadu today is one of the leading states in the country in education, health and infrastructure.
