Thirsty for work for 2 years, spent her days eating vadapav, kept traveling locally, famous actress fell ill

Kalki Koechlin: Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin made her debut with Anurag Kashyap's film 'Dev D'. His acting in the film was greatly appreciated by the fans but despite being famous and impressing people with his acting, Culkin did not get any work for almost 2 years after his first film.

In a recent interview, Kalki talked about the difficult phase of her professional life. The actress also told that she did many types of roles for Rs 1000. Kalki said, after 'Dev D' I did not get any other film for 2 years. I think my next film after that was 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.

Meanwhile, Kalki also had to face severe financial crisis. The actress said that due to lack of money, she spent her time only by eating vadapaan. I used to travel in local train. People were very surprised to see me in the local train. People used to ask me why I don't have a bodyguard. Kalki was last seen in 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan'.
