Hrithik Roshan aka the Greek God of dance in Bollywood, has turned a year older today. The actor rings a bell for a birthday celebration with family and friends. While today, Hrithik seems completely fit, his life has not always been like that. In his early days as a boy, Hrithik suffered from stammering and was born with an extra thumb. Roshan came from a diverse background, which was a mix of Bengali and Punjabi families.

It all began with Hrithik’s grandfather, Lal Nagrath, who was a known music director. He had two children, – Rakesh Roshan and Rajesh Roshan. On the other hand, Lal Nagrath’s wife Ira Moitra, was a famous singer.

Hrithik’s father Rakesh, was the eldest sibling. He was married to Pinky Roshan, and the duo were blessed with a son – Hrithik, and a daughter – Sunaina Roshan. In the year 2007, Sunaina was diagnosed with cervical cancer. However, she overcame the disease. She has also been very vocal about her health transformation journey. In a conversation, she revealed how she left the junk-food-heavy lifestyle to accepting healthy eating.

Coming to Hrithik, then the actor had a tough childhood due to his stammering. Later, at the age of 21, he was diagnosed with scoliosis, a spinal deformity where doctors said he would never be able to dance. However, the actor overcame all the problems and went on to become one of the most celebrated actors in the industry.

On the Personal front, Hrithik fell in love with Sussanne Khan and the couple got married in 2008. They are blessed with two sons Hrehaan (18) and Hridhaan (16). However, because of compatibility issues, the couple parted ways. Sussane divorced Hrithik Roshan on November 1, 2014.

After Hrithik’s divorce, his affair rumours with actress Saba Azad started making rounds on the internet. The duo have a huge gap of 12 years. While Saba is 39 years old, Hrithik is 51.

Coming to Hrithik’s professional, the actor was last in seen Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The movie did well at the box office.
