This actress was sexually abused by ‘Mamaji’ in her childhood, she tearfully narrated her story
Desk. Popular TV actress Shivangi Joshi has revealed a very painful and horrifying secret related to her life in the recent episode of the reality show ‘Lock Up 2’. Shivangi could not control her tears while turning the pages of her past during the show. She told that in her childhood, she was sexually exploited by a close family friend, whom she fondly and respectfully called Uncle. After harboring this deep wound and mental burden in his heart for years, he finally gathered the courage to make it public with the support of other contestants of the show like Ram Kapoor and Harshad Chopra.
Shivangi got emotional and recalled the time when she was very young and was preparing to go to Mumbai to fulfill her acting dream. He told that the accused person was his mother’s adopted brother, who had a good reputation in the society. The family had unwavering faith in him, due to which he often used to take Shivangi to and from school. When the talk of going to Mumbai and making a career in the field of acting started, that person used this as a weapon and started making Shivangi his victim.
He used to tell Shivangi that if she wanted to go to Mumbai and do acting then it was very important to learn to drive a car. After this he used to make Shivangi sit on his lap and ask her to hold the steering wheel. At that innocent age, Shivangi could not understand what was the intention of that person and why was he doing this. However, he found his actions uncomfortable and wrong, so he clearly refused to learn driving.
But that person’s nefarious intentions did not end here. Shivangi shared another horrifying incident of the night and said that one day when her parents had gone out for some important work, the man took the opportunity and came to their house at night. He scared Shivangi and said that going to Mumbai, an actor has to do all kinds of sensitive and difficult scenes, hence he has to be mentally prepared for every situation. Saying this, he suddenly caught hold of Shivangi forcibly. He kissed Shivangi on her forehead and cheeks, but as soon as he tried to kiss her lips, Shivangi pushed him away with all her strength. In this scuffle, her hand accidentally touched the man, due to which he got very angry and he brutally threw Shivangi on the ground.
According to Shivangi, if her father had not reached there at the right time that day, the situation could have been even worse. As soon as her parents returned home, her father heard Shivangi screaming. As soon as he saw the inside of the room, his father got angry and he beat the man severely and immediately threw him out of the house. However, this incident left such a deep mental shock on Shivangi’s childhood mind that she could not even step out of her house for several days due to fear.
