This person spent ₹ 1 lakh on condom, big revelation in Swiggy Instamart report!

Swiggy Instamart Report 2025: If you think that online shopping only means home groceries and vegetables, then you are absolutely wrong. The Swiggy Instamart Report of 2025 has made some such revelations which have sparked debate on social media. Online quick-commerce platforms have now presented a picture of people’s personal habits and spending that no one had even imagined.

Chennai youth surprised by his unique choice

In the latest report of Swiggy Instamart, a customer from Chennai is being discussed the most. With the amount this person has spent on buying condoms in an entire year, a good bike or a wonderful vacation can be planned. According to the report, this young man placed orders a total of 228 times in a year and paid a huge bill of Rs 1,06,398 just to buy condoms. This figure is not only shocking, but also shows that people are now completely dependent on online delivery for their personal needs.

Why are online sales of condoms increasing?

Instamart reports suggest that condoms have now become one of the most popular products on the platform. If we look at the data, out of every 127 orders, at least one order included condoms. Due to the increasing speed and privacy of quick-commerce, people are finding it better to order from the app instead of going to the shops. Interestingly, a 24 percent jump was seen in condom sales in the month of September, which clearly shows that Instamart is now becoming the first choice of Indians for personal needs.

New record made in demand of milk also

Even though the news of condom is going viral, the most important thing in India still remains ‘milk’. Even in 2025, milk broke all sales records. According to the report, more than four milk packets were ordered every second on Instamart. The company made an interesting comparison and said that the amount of milk delivered in a year could fill more than 26,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools. These figures prove that Instamart’s reach has now spread strongly everywhere from kitchen to personal care.
