Beekeeping is done on a large scale in these areas, which produces high quality honey. Farmers here are adopting beekeeping as a profitable business with the help of modern technologies and government schemes. Honey production is not only strengthening the rural economy but also creating new employment opportunities.

Honey produced from Uttar Pradesh is exported to various countries, which also boosts India’s agricultural export potential. Indian honey is in good demand in the international market due to its natural quality and purity.
