Through this leave policy, the intention has been expressed to understand the special needs of the girl students and provide them support.

Chanakya National Law University, Patna has approved the menstrual leave policy. On Wednesday, University Registrar SP Singh issued a letter regarding this. The objective of this policy is to provide special assistance for compensatory attendance during menstruation. Girl students can claim one day leave every month during their studies.
Before Chanakya Law University, Hidayatullah Law University of Chhattisgarh and NALSAR University of Law had first implemented the menstrual leave policy.
