Lucknow : In the budget session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a scathing attack on the opposition and reiterated his government’s commitment towards nationalism and development. He termed the mafia love and appeasement politics of the previous governments as the main reason for the plight of the state. The CM termed the economic survey presented in the House for the first time as the announcement of a new era. In his address, ‘zero tolerance’ towards mafias and the determination to make UP the third largest economy of the country was clearly visible.
CM Yogi’s strict stance on Vande Mataram
Let us tell you that during the discussion in the House, the Chief Minister expressed his views on nationalism openly. He said that insulting Vande Mataram in any government or important program will not be tolerated at all and those doing so should be shown the door immediately. Taking aim at the opposition, Yogi said that those who consider Babar as their idol and bow their heads on the graves of mafias, they will never be able to respect the cultural dignity of the country.
Freed from mafia rule, has become a Utsav state
Yogi Adityanath, while comparing the situation in Uttar Pradesh before 2017 and today, told how the state has now become a ‘festival state’ after being freed from mafia rule. He said that earlier there was a fear of riots during festivals, but now there is an atmosphere of faith. The CM reminded the opposition leaders that during his time the morale of the police was broken, whereas today criminals beg for their lives and the common citizen feels completely safe.
UP has made a place among the top economies
Emphasizing on the growing economic strength of UP, the Chief Minister said that the state has now made its place among the top three economies of the country. He said that the Economic Survey presented in the House is proof that UP has now become the main engine of India’s development. Referring to the tenure of Mata Prasad Pandey, the CM said that at that time the youth were facing identity crisis, but today’s Uttar Pradesh is full of self-confidence.
Record recruitments in police department
The government has taken historic steps to strengthen the security infrastructure. Yogi said that more than 2 lakh 19 thousand policemen have been recruited, in which the youth of every district have got the opportunity without any discrimination. Especially the recruitment of more than 44 thousand women has further strengthened the department. By increasing the capacity of police training manifold and constructing modern barracks and high-rise buildings, a radical change has been brought about in the functioning of the soldiers.
CM Yogi spoke on temple economy
Referring to the development works of Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura, the CM highlighted the success of ‘Temple Economy’. He told that there has been a huge increase in the number of devotees coming to Magh Mela, which is a symbol of the fact that people are now going on pilgrimage without fear. By honoring great icons like Raja Suheldev and Ahilyabai Holkar, the government has broken the cultural barriers that the previous governments had imposed due to appeasement.
