Threat goes viral after gangrape, woman consumes poison

Troubled by the threat of gang rape and making the video viral, a 25-year-old woman tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. The condition is serious. Police will take action after the statement of the woman admitted in the hospital.

Rajasthan: According to the victim, on December 27, a young man lured her from Firozpur Jhirka police station area of ​​Haryana and took her with him. The accused took him directly to a village in Tijara police station area of ​​Khairthal-Tijara district. His brother-in-law and maternal uncle’s son were already present there. It is alleged that after this all three together forcibly raped the woman.

The woman told that during this time two accused also made a video of the incident with their mobile phones. After the incident, the accused started threatening him through videos. They said that if she told anything to anyone or did not listen to them, they would send the video to her husband and family members and make it viral on social media.

Mental torture due to threat of making video viral

According to the victim, after the gangrape, the accused kept blackmailing her. Pressure was put on her by threatening to make the video viral and send it to her husband. Due to this fear and mental stress the woman completely broke down. She was constantly living under the shadow of fear and shame.

Fed up with the mental torture on Sunday night, the woman consumed poisonous substance. When his health suddenly started deteriorating, the accused took him to the hospital. However, after being admitted to the hospital, the three accused fled from the spot.

According to hospital sources, the woman’s condition remains critical and her treatment is ongoing. He has been kept under the observation of doctors. For this reason, the statement of the victim has not been recorded yet nor has the report been formally filed.

SHO Jaiprakash of Tijara police station said that at present no written report of this matter has been registered in the police station. The police will register a case and take further legal action only after the victim’s condition becomes stable and her statement is received. Police say that the allegations are serious and the investigation will be expedited as soon as the complaint is received.

This case once again raises serious questions on crimes against women and incidents like blackmailing. There are demands from the police and administration to provide justice to the victim and take strict action against the accused.
