- After thorough investigation no suspicious object was confirmed

Ahmedabad’s prestigious schools St. Immediately after receiving the information, police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and conducted a thorough investigation of the school premises. At present no suspicious object has been confirmed, but all necessary steps have been taken in view of security. The school administration informed the parents and directed them to pick up the children from a safe drop-off location. Shiv Nadar School in Noida also received threat through e-mail. The police took immediate action and increased the security of the school premises and started a search operation.
According to police officials, in the initial investigation the e-mail appears to be fake, but investigation is going on from every aspect. This is not the first time that Noida schools have received such threats. Police and cyber cell are engaged in e-mail tracing, IP address and identification of the sender. Security has been beefed up on school campuses and police are on alert mode.
There is an atmosphere of anxiety among parents due to continuous threats. It was decided to keep all the affected schools closed for a day due to security check. School buses were sent back and parents were appealed to pick their children from the designated drop-off point only. The administration said that the safety of students and staff is the top priority.
