Threat to bomb three flights in Hyderabad, stir amid Indigo crisis

Hyderabad Airport Bomb Threat News: There was panic at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, Hyderabad, when a threat was made to blow up three planes simultaneously. This threat was given through e-mail, in which Indigo Airlines flight 6E-7178 coming from Kannur, Kerala to Hyderabad, Lufthansa flight LH-752 coming from Frankfurt, Germany and British Airways flight coming from London to Hyderabad were targeted.

As soon as airport authorities were informed about the threat, emergency security protocols were immediately implemented. All three planes were landed safely at Shamshabad airport with full caution. Immediately after landing, all the passengers were deboarded from the planes and shifted to safe places. First they were sent to the isolation area, so that they could be kept away from any possible danger.

Security agencies on alert

During this period, a large number of security forces, CISF, local police and bomb squad teams were deployed at the airport. Security agencies launched a thorough search of the three planes, taking help from bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs. Passengers’ luggage, cargo areas and every part of the aircraft were meticulously inspected. Officials said no suspicious objects have been recovered from any aircraft so far, but the precautionary investigation process is underway.

Threatening e-mails are also being investigated by cyber agencies so that the conspiracy behind it can be found out. The airport administration assured the passengers that their safety is the top priority and no risk is being taken. Due to this incident, operations at the airport were affected for some time and many flights were also delayed. However, the situation is now completely under control and further action will be taken after investigation.
