In Karnataka, three miscreants crossed all limits of brutality, kidnapped a woman from Bengal and raped her.

Bengaluru. A disgusting case of kidnapping and gang rape of a woman from West Bengal has come to light in Mysuru district of Karnataka. After this incident, Mysuru Police took swift action and arrested the three main accused within 24 hours of the incident.

Kidnapped in car on the pretext of asking address

Let us tell you that the victim woman is a resident of West Bengal. According to the information received from the police, the victim was standing at T. Narasipura bus stand after returning from her friend’s birthday party at around 9:45 pm on July 18. Meanwhile, three youths traveling in a car reached there and requested the woman to read an address written in Kannada language. After this, as soon as the woman came near, the accused forcibly pulled her inside the car. After this, the accused forcibly took the woman to a lodge located near Santhemarahalli in Chamarajanagar district and there the three accused assaulted the woman. Then they forcibly gang-raped the woman, taking turns with her. Not only this, after crossing all limits of brutality, the accused also robbed the woman of Rs 5,000 in cash and her two mobile phones.

Woman’s wisdom saved her life

According to sources, after the rape, the accused demanded Rs 1 lakh from the woman and also threatened to kill her if she did not give it. After this, the victim woman showed courage and wisdom and told the accused that the money was kept at her house. After keeping the woman overnight, when the accused came to drop her near her rented house in Vivekananda Nagar on the morning of 19th July, the woman immediately ran inside the house and started making noise. Hearing his voice, when the landlord and neighbors started gathering, the accused got scared and fled from the spot along with the car.

All three accused arrested, strict police action

Mysuru District Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi said that as soon as information about the incident was received, the police registered a case under the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and started investigation. Apart from this, on the basis of technical evidence and promptness, the police have arrested the three accused Kiran, Kishore and Ryan, residents of T. Narasipura. Along with this, he said that taking this matter seriously, all three have been produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. The victim woman has been admitted to a hospital in Mysuru for medical aid and counselling. At present, the police are involved in further legal action in the case.
