Three people including a woman arrested in the murder of a young man, the incident took place over a dispute over a goat entering the house, sticks recovered

Sitapur- The altercation that started over a goat dispute in Ramkot police station area of ​​Sitapur district has now turned into murder. The police have arrested three accused who were absconding. A woman is also included among the arrested accused. The family members of the deceased had created a ruckus by blocking the road to arrest the accused.

At the behest of the accused, the stick used in the crime was also recovered and all three were sent to jail. According to the information, on 20 February 2026, there was an altercation between the two parties regarding the goat going to the other party’s house in village Rahimpur Madhiya. This quarrel turned into a fight. During this, Shatrohan, son of Jagannath of the first party, was seriously injured. He was admitted to District Hospital Sitapur, from where doctors referred him to KGMU for treatment. Shatrohan died during treatment on 22 February 2026.

Inspector in-charge Piyush Singh said that the arrested accused Soumendra son of Parmeshwar, Satish son of Parmeshwar and accused Santoshi wife of Satish, all residents of village Rahimpur Madhiya. Police said that a number of sticks used in the murder have been recovered from the possession of the accused. After the lathi was found, section 105 BNS has been increased in the case. The arrested accused have been issued challan and sent to jail!!
