Three Vietnamese sisters win hat-trick of SEA Games wrestling gold
The eldest sister, Nguyen Thi My Hanh, led the charge in the women’s under-62kg event on Thursday. She defeated Caprio Geralin (Philippines) 4-1, Kharisma Tantri (Indonesia) 3-, and Sopha Thammavong (Laos) 5-0. In her final bout, she overcame Thailand’s Srisombat Salinee 4-1 to secure her fourth consecutive SEA Games gold.
Inspired by their sister’s victory, the younger siblings delivered stellar performances in their finals later on.
