Thuram ends long France drought after 17 games and recent Inter struggle
Marcus Thuram has been struggling with Inter, but above all in the France shirt, so scoring his first goal for Les Bleus since 2023 could be a turning point.
The striker had only two goals at senior international level for France, failing to find the net for his country since the 14-0 victory over Gibraltar in November 2023.
That was followed by 17 consecutive matches without being on target, but that drought came to an end this evening.
Thuram finally finds net for France
Thuram scored the second goal to put France 2-0 up against Colombia in a friendly warming up for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

Tikus has struggled for Inter too recently, scoring in only the first Champions League game of the season against Ajax in September 2025.
He had just one Serie A goal since January 11, firing blanks in 14 of his last 15 club games.
