Till 30th December, all BLOs will be present along with voter list at their allotted polling center for free inspection of general public and to obtain Form-2, Form-3 and Form-4.

Sonbhadra/Uttar Pradesh-

District Magistrate/District Election Officer (Pt.) Sonbhadra has informed that as per the instructions of the State Election Commission, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, as per the revised notification, the work of major revision of electoral rolls of three-tier Panchayats in the district is in progress as per the time schedule prescribed by the revised public notice issued from the district.

The draft of the provisional voter list has been published on December 23, 2025. He said that one copy each of the provisional voter list will be available for inspection by the general public at the BLO/Polling Centre, Deputy District Magistrate/Assistant Electoral Registration Officer’s office (Tehsil premises) and Block Development Officer’s office (Development Block Headquarters) and personnel will also be appointed to conduct the inspection.

Between the period fixed for inspection – 23.12.2025 to 30.12.2025, all the citizens of the district will be able to check whether their names and those of all the eligible members of their family have been registered without error in the electoral roll and in case of any error/objection, on the prescribed forms, Form-2 for inclusion of name in the voter list, Form-3 for amendment in any entry in the voter list and Form-4 for objection on the name included in the voter list. Will be able to make claims and objections.

He said that from December 23, 2025 to December 30, 2025, all BLOs will be present along with voter lists at their allotted polling centers for free inspection of the general public and to collect Form-2, Form-3 and Form-4. All the buildings declared as polling stations will remain open during the said period even on public holidays and BLOs will be present from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM for the stipulated period. Along with receiving the claims and objections, the concerned BLO will also investigate the claims/objections received within the stipulated period.
