After this action of David, fans are strongly criticizing him on social media. However, it was not clear when he had made these indecent gestures.

may be banned
If a player shows the middle finger during an IPL match, he may be banned for some matches. Under Article 2.6 of the IPL Code of Conduct, the use of any obscene or objectionable gesture by players is prohibited. If a player makes such a reaction, even unknowingly, he is guilty of a Level 1 offense and is fined 50% of his match fee along with one demerit point.
In such a situation, it is believed that BCCI can ban Tim David for some matches. However, it has not been confirmed that Tim David made these obscene gestures during the match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians played in Raipur. At present, no action has been taken by BCCI or IPL regarding this matter.
