The broadcasters of the mega auction have requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

According to reports, the timing of the event has now been changed following the request of the broadcasters. Now bidding on players will take place at 3:30 instead of 3 o’clock.

Broadcasters feared that the IPL mega auction would clash with the first Test of India vs Australia. Because the first test match will be played in Perth between 22 and 26 November. Which will end at 2:30 PM IST daily, but sometimes the match time is extended due to circumstances like weather, bad light or slow overs. Due to which the broadcasters have requested to increase the time by half an hour.
