250 grams cucumber

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

2 teaspoon coriander powder

2 tbsp refined oil

1 pinch asafoetida

salt as required

2 tbsp cane sugar

Step 1 Cut Cucumber and Roast Mustard Seeds

To start, wash and chop the cucumber. Take a pan, add some oil in it and heat it on low flame. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida and fry them until the seeds crackle.

Step 2 Add spices, mix and serve!

When the crackling stops, add the cucumber pieces and fry for 10 minutes. Once the cucumber is cooked, add turmeric, asafoetida, cumin powder, salt, jaggery (cane sugar), coriander powder and fry again on high flame for 4-5 minutes. Switch off the flame and serve hot!
