Jagan called TDP Chief and CM Naidu 'habitual liars'. In an eight-page letter, Jagan has alleged that CM Chandrababu Naidu has hurt the faith of crores of people just for political gains.

The process of accepting ghee was given by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), the trust that looks after the Venkateswara temple in Tirupati. Former CM Jagan alleged that Chief Minister Naidu's actions have not only lowered the dignity of the CM's post but also hurt the sanctity of TTD and its practices.

It will help in restoring the faith of the devotees

Jagan further wrote in the letter that now the whole country is looking towards you in this matter. It is very important that CM Naidu is strongly reprimanded for his act of spreading lies and the truth is brought out. This will help in removing the doubts created by Chandrababu Naidu in the minds of crores of Hindu devotees and restoring their faith in the sanctity of TTD.

Naidu raised this issue with malicious intent

Referring to the process of purchasing ghee at Tirupati temple, he said that earlier during the inspection, the ghee found adulterated was sent back and the tanker was not allowed to enter the premises of TTD. However, CM Naidu raised the issue in a party meeting on September 18 with malicious intent. During the NDA Legislature Party meeting a few days ago, the TDP chief claimed that the previous YSRCP government did not even spare the Sri Venkateswara Temple and used substandard material and animal fat to make laddus.

Two days after Jagan said that on September 20, TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao said in a press conference that lab tests had revealed the presence of animal fat and grease in the ghee samples and the board was in the process of blacklisting the contractor who supplied the adulterated ghee.
