TMC Candidates List: Trinamool Congress announced names of 291 candidates, Mamata Banerjee will contest elections from Bhawanipur.

TMC Candidates List: Regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections, Trinamool Congress has announced the names of candidates for 291 seats. Mamta Banerjee will contest the assembly elections from Bhawanipur. In the last Assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee had contested from two seats. One is Nandigram and the other Bhawanipur assembly. In Nandigram, Mamata was facing competition from BJP leader Shubhendu. Here she lost the election to Shubhendu but won from Bhawanipur. Now Mamata Banerjee will contest elections from Bhawanipur.

With this list of Trinamool Congress candidates, the picture of the electoral contest is clear. Mamata Banerjee announced the names of the candidates from her residence in Kalighat, Kolkata and said that this time too the party will contest the elections with full strength to maintain the tradition of victory.

Announcing the candidates, Mamata Banerjee said that this time the party has tried to strike a balance between experience and new faces. Many sitting MLAs have been given a second chance in the list, while new faces have been fielded on some seats. The special thing is that this time also Mamata Banerjee herself will contest from Bhawanipur seat, where she is likely to face BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari.
