TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha taunted – Any move by BJP in Bengal will be ‘chealable’

Patna, 11 April. Shatrughan Sinha, a famous cine star of yesteryear and who reached Trinamool Congress (TMC) through BJP, MP from Asansol, took a dig at the BJP and said that none of their moves will ‘cholebe na’ (will not work) in Bengal.

Shatrughan Sinha, popularly known as ‘Bihari Babu’, while talking to the media at Patna airport on Saturday, said that TMC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee, with his wisdom, has exposed the ‘thousand crore deal’ issue of BJP, the effect of which is visible in the entire country.

BJP’s conspiracies exposed by Humayun Kabir’s viral video

Referring to the recent controversy related to the viral video of AJUP founder Humayun Kabir, he said that there is a lot of truth in it and the conspiracies of BJP have been exposed. He said, ‘Now, like Humayun, the party itself has separated (from Trinamool Congress)… The video that has gone viral is being discussed everywhere. The people of our Bengal have ended their decision even before it started… People are saying that there is a lot of truth in this video… Earlier also people of BJP were hatching such a conspiracy… At present we are not discussing it much.

BJP’s washing machinesharp attack on policy

Shatrughan Sinha made a sharp attack on BJP’s ‘washing machine’ policy and alleged that BJP is including those corrupt people in its party, against whom he himself had earlier accused of a scam of Rs 70 thousand crore. Giving the example of Maharashtra, he said that there a leader was made the Finance Minister just three-four days after joining the party. TMC MP asked whether BJP will now take any action against the tainted leaders of Bengal?

Mamta Banerjee’s leadership triad, Tested and successful

Praising Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Sinha called her ‘Iron Lady’ and ‘Mamatamayi’. He said that Mamata Banerjee’s leadership is ‘tried, tested and successful’. He claimed that the people of Bengal are with Mamata Banerjee and this time TMC will give a ‘sweeping result’ (bumper victory) in the elections. The confidence visible on his face is a symbol of the development of Bengal and the work of TMC.

PM Modi and Amit Shah’s promises termed as ‘jumla’

Shatrughan Sinha, once considered the star campaigner of BJP, termed the promises of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah as ‘jumla’. He said that the promises of two crore jobs and Rs 15 lakh in every account have now become a joke among the public. Raising the issue of stopping MNREGA money, he said that about Rs 2 lakh crore of the poor of Bengal is stuck with the Centre. At the time of elections, BJP is again making lame promises, but the public will no longer fall into their trap.

Said on UCC – ‘There will be no nine maunds of oil’, Neither will Radha dance’

On Amit Shah’s statement in which he had said that UCC will be implemented within six months, Shatrughan Sinha quipped that ‘Neither nine mana oil will be there, nor Radha will dance’. He said that BJP claims ‘two-third majority’ in every election, but everyone has seen their fate in Delhi and Bihar. BJP had become a ‘scooter party’ in front of Kejriwal in Delhi and the same situation is going to happen to it in Bengal also.

Nitish Kumar my friend, They need some rest’

On the question of Bihar politics and the new Chief Minister, Shatrughan Sinha said that as per the discussion in the media, no one is going to become the Chief Minister soon. He called Nitish Kumar his friend and said that he needs some rest now. Apart from this, he praised Prashant Kishore a lot. Describing PK as ‘scholar, capable, learned and visionary’, he said that there is a need to ‘wait and watch’ on him in Bihar politics.
