New Delhi: The winter session of Parliament has started from Monday. On the first day of parliamentary proceedings, the Lok Sabha meeting was adjourned for the day within a minute of resuming after a single adjournment and no legislative business, including Question Hour, took place. There is a possibility of uproar on the second day of the session i.e. Tuesday also. In fact, Trinamool Congress (TMC) will raise the issue of continuous caste violence in Manipur and non-release of Centre's share of funds to West Bengal under schemes like MNREGA scheme and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

A source close to the party said that apart from the Manipur violence and financial payments to West Bengal, the party also plans to raise issues like price rise, unemployment and shortage of fertilizers among farmers.
