This is the reason why a time slot has been fixed for burning firecrackers. TNPCB is making people aware in this regard in collaboration with many government departments. People have been told that they can burst firecrackers only from 6 am to 7 am and 7 pm to 8 pm. This decision has been taken to control pollution.
