TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Cut-off 2024: Check category-wise marks here

Chennai: The wait for the TNPSC Group 2 result 2024 continues as there is no official announcement yet from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) regarding the release date. However, the official website reads that the TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Group II and IIA Services) results will be released in December. After the declaration on the official website (tnpsc.gov.in), all the candidates who have appeared for the offline exam can check the results with their registered number and date of birth.

The exam authority is likely to release TNPSC Group 2 cut-off 2024 marks along with results. The TNPSC Group 2 Prelims cut-off marks are very important for candidates to know whether they qualify for the Mains exam or not. The TNPSC Group 2 Prelims cut-off 2024 will be available for all male and female candidates of all categories. Candidates who qualify and stand above the cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the TNPSC Group 2 Mains exam.

The Commission has clearly stated the TNPSC Group 2 qualifying marks. One must get a minimum of 90 marks out of 300 to qualify in the preliminary exam. The minimum marks candidates must attain to qualify in the TNPSC Group 2 Mains exam is 40 marks in paper 1. It is 90 marks for TNPSC Group 2 Mains paper 2 exam.

Earlier, the Commission has conducted the TNPSC Group 2 exam for more than seven lakh candidates on September 14 at various exam centres across the state in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. It has also released the TNPSC Group 2 answer key 2024 pdf on the official website. It has allowed candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key from September 23 to 30, 2024. The TNPSC Group 2 recruitment is being held to fill a total of 2327 vacancies.
