To save MNREGA, Rahul Gandhi-Mallikarjun Kharge jumped into the field as laborers, carrying a towel on their forehead and a shovel on their shoulders…
New Delhi. A picture has emerged from the country’s politics, which has created a sensation in the entire country. The two biggest faces of the country’s oldest Congress party, President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, were seen in a completely different style. Instead of suit-boots and white kurta, he had a desi towel tied on his forehead and a shovel in his hands. This was not just a photo opportunity, but an open rebellion against the new decision of the Central Government. Which Congress is calling a conspiracy to enslave the poor. The root of the controversy is the Modi government’s new ‘Developed India-Ji Ram Ji Act’, which has raised questions on the very existence of MNREGA. Congress alleges that the central government is on its way to abolish the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) by changing its name and changing its nature. Rahul Gandhi said in very sharp words that MNREGA is the ‘oxygen’ of rural India.

He warned that if the lifeline was cut, the village poor would be completely devastated. According to the Congress, this is not just a process of changing the name, but an attempt to erase the name of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi from the public memory of the country and crush the basic idea of Gram Swaraj, which was established with decades of hard work.
Mallikarjun Kharge’s attack was more sharp than Rahul’s. He directly targets Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that MNREGA is being targeted so that the downtrodden people of the country can again be made ‘bonded labourers’. Kharge argues that when the poor do not have the legal guarantee of 100 days’ work, they will be forced to dance to the tune of the rich for a few rupees.
The Congress President clearly said that instead of making people self-reliant, the government wants to make them slaves of the capitalists, Congress will never tolerate ‘hypocrisy’. This fight is not going to be limited to just statements. Congress has made it clear that the government will be attacked brick by brick regarding the Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Act developed in the budget session of Parliament starting from January 28. Every Congress worker is preparing to take to the streets and agitate. Rahul Gandhi has announced that the party is ready to go to any extent to protect MNREGA. It remains to be seen what clarification the government gives during the budget session.
