Today our government is from Tripura, Assam to Bengal, now infiltration and cow smuggling will become impossible: Amit Shah
Kolkata. Shubhendu Adhikari’s name was approved in the BJP Legislature Party meeting in West Bengal. Shubhendu Adhikari will now be the Chief Minister of the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present as a central observer. During this, Amit Shah along with Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted his party. During this, he said, with folded hands I want to thank the people of Bengal profusely. The kind of atmosphere that was created during the communist times, Mamata ji transformed it into fear in a deeper way. Expression of opinion was almost impossible there, hundreds of examples of violence and cruelty are proof of that. Meanwhile, I thank you very much for the massive victory that the people of Bengal have given us by trusting the BJP and our leader Narendra Modi.

Amit Shah further said, whatever the people of Bengal have expected from us and the hopes with which they have given us majority, we will make every effort to ensure that your trust is not hurt even a bit, there is no shortcoming in it. It is the responsibility of all of us BJP workers to follow the goal of Sonar Bangla and fulfill the expectations of the people of Bengal. Today the victory of Bengal is very important from many points of view. After an ideological journey of 100 years, today BJP government has been formed everywhere from Gangotri to Gangasagar, it is a matter of great joy for all of us. The journey of the idea with which we set out since 1950 and under whose leadership we walked – on the land of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, after 1950, today in 2026, his party’s government is being formed.
He further said, when Article 370 was removed, there was a wave of happiness in the minds of BJP workers across the country, but many senior workers had told me that there is still some work to be done. Then I asked with surprise, what is left now? Then he had said, BJP flag is yet to be hoisted in Bengal. I believe that wherever Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is today, he would be blessing the leadership of PM Modi that today Modi ji’s leadership took BJP from Gangotri to Gangasagar.
Also said, today we have a government in Tripura, we have a government in Assam and now our government has been formed in Bengal too… Infiltration and cow smuggling is going to be impossible. With determination, the Government of Bengal and the Government of India will convert this border into an impregnable fortress of national security. Out of 23 administrative districts, there are 9 districts where Didi’s account has not even been opened. The mess has been cleared. I have never seen such a massive mandate because when the government works, it gets the mandate, but where the government is in the opposition party and the leader of the opposition party is not given a chance to speak, the ruling party has zero votes in 9 districts. This is only the grace of the public and God.
Amit Shah further said, I want to thank the people of Bhawanipur very much. Shubhendu da had defeated Didi in Nandigram in the last elections. I had seen an interview of Didi, in which she had said that I had gone to fight in her stronghold… Didi, this time Shubhendu da has defeated you in your own house.
