Port Blair: The first international flight is going to start from Veer Savarkar International Airport in the capital of Andaman and Nicobar from Saturday. This flight is about to take its first flight for Air Asia. These dates were decided two months ago. This airport has been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It was said here, “After a long wait, we are happy to announce that we have decided to start international flights from Port Blair Airport. The first flight is of Air Asia and is scheduled for November 16.
We would like to thank the government and Air Asia for helping us.” The absence of flights has greatly affected tourism in Port Blair and they are hopeful that the arrival of international flights will bring more tourists.

It is being told that earlier, on April 30, Veer Savarkar International Airport started night operations after significant upgrades and advancements. On 18 April, a private airline was the first airline to land using ILS at VSI Airport.
