Delhi wrapped in dense fog, AQI 414; Rain warning in many states amid severe cold

Weather patterns will change in Delhi-NCR

Rain is also going to enter Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather with fog in the capital today. According to the department, today the minimum temperature of Delhi can be between 7 to 9 degrees Celsius. The effect of cold can be felt more in the morning and night. The capital Delhi is wrapped in a blanket of dense fog. According to CPCB, AQI ‘414’ was recorded in the area, which falls in the ‘severe’ category. Restrictions have been implemented under GRAP-4.

Rain in UP after two days

There are signs of complete change in the weather in Uttar Pradesh in the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, rain may be seen in many parts of the state between January 22 and 25. Along with this, there is also a possibility of dense fog in the morning and night. Cold wave like situation may occur in Ayodhya, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Barabanki, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad and Meerut today. People in these areas need to be especially cautious of cold.

Mercury will fall in Bihar

A drop in temperature has also been recorded in many districts of Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, a decrease of 1 to 2 degrees Celsius in temperature may be seen in Patna, Gaya, Jehanabad, Buxar, Siwan, Bhojpur, Saran, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Araria, Kishanganj and Khagaria.

Rain and snowfall alert on mountains

Rain and snowfall is about to start in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of light to moderate rain in Nainital and surrounding districts of Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar on Friday. Along with this, there is also a possibility of drop in temperature.

Weather will remain bad in Himachal Pradesh till January 25

The weather in Himachal Pradesh may worsen in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the state is going to be very challenging between January 22 and 25. There is a possibility of snowfall along with rain in many areas, due to which life may be affected.
