Toilet is infamous just by name, these 5 things in your house are the home of diseases, clean them today itself.

News India Live, Digital Desk: Most of us clean the toilet two-three times a week with phenyl or acid because we think that most of the germs will be there. But if science is to be believed, the story is a little different. In fact, we keep cleaning the toilet seat frequently, so bacteria do not grow there as much as on other unseen things in the house. Think, when was the last time you sanitized your TV remote? maybe never. The remote is something that every member of the household touches, with sweaty hands and sometimes even while eating. According to a research, many times more bacteria are found on the TV remote than on the toilet seat. Similarly, let’s talk about the kitchen sink and the sponge used to wash utensils. It may sound a little disgusting, but the kitchen sink is one of the dirtiest places. The sponge is always wet and has small pieces of food stuck in it, which is the perfect place for germs to grow. We clean the utensils with the same dirty sponge and think that the utensils are shiny! Another thing which remains very close to us is our smartphone. We take it with us to the bed, to the dinner table and some even to the toilet. The dirt stuck on the phone screen can directly reach inside the body through our hands and face. Not only this, the chopping board on which we cut fresh vegetables or the toothbrush holder kept near the wash basin, due to moisture, dangerous bacteria like E. coli make their home. So should we start getting scared now? no way! You just have to make a small change in your cleaning habits. Change kitchen cloths and sponges regularly, wipe down remotes and phones once a week with a safe cleaner, and pay as much attention to cleaning the toothbrush holder as you do to polishing the floors. Remember, health is maintained not just by medicines, but also by small precautions.
