Tollywood actress Madhavi Latha lodges complaint against TDP leader Prabhakar Reddy-Read

Hyderabad: Actor and BJP leader Madhavi Latha lodged a complaint with Cyberabad Police against TDP leader and Tadipatri Municipal Corporation Chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy alleging he made derogatory comments against her.

She filed a complaint against Prabhakar Reddy at the Police Commissioner’s Office in Gachibowli on Tuesday. She alleged that the comments recently made by Reddy caused caused her significant emotional distress.

Speaking later to the media, Madhavi Latha questioned whether making derogatory remarks about actresses and women and then apologizing is an acceptable behavior.

She further alleged that the remarks not only affected her but also caused fear and distress among her family members.

Earlier, the actress had lodged a complaint with the ‘MAA’ seeking action.

It can be noted that on New Year’s Eve, December 31, Prabhakar Reddy organised a special program for women at JC Park in Tadipatri. The event featured various activities, attracting a large number of women from the area.

Prior to the event, Madhavi Latha posted a video on social media advising women not to attend, alleging that anti-social activities frequently occurred at JC Park.

In response, Prabhakar Reddy made derogatory comments about her.

Although he later issued an apology for his remarks, the incident drew widespread attention.
