Tony Leung spotted in Tokyo meeting Japanese actor Kouhei Takeda

Hong Kong actor Tony Leung was seen socializing with friends in Tokyo, Japan, where he met Japanese actor Kouhei Takeda.

According to Dimsum DailyLeung was spotted arriving at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport dressed casually in a loose-fitting sweatshirt and black trousers. He carried a backpack and avoided typical celebrity accessories like masks or sunglasses.

Takeda later shared a photo on his Instagram account on Jan. 17, expressing gratitude for the meeting and describing it as a meaningful and enriching experience.

“Tony taught me a lot as an actor,” he wrote in the caption.

The encounter sparked speculation about a potential collaboration between the two actors. Others expressed amusement at seeing Leung and Takeda together.

Leung, 63, started his acting career in 1982 and is regarded as one of Asia’s most prominent and internationally acclaimed actors. He is particularly celebrated for his collaborations with Wong Kar-wai, appearing in seven films, including “In the Mood for Love,” which earned him the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Takeda, 40, is well-known for his roles in TV series such as “For You in Full Blossom,” “Kamen Rider Kiva,” and “Kamen Rider Build.”
