He sustained the injury during the Big Bash League in January 2026 and missed the key matches in the Australian league.
Nathan Ellis has built a strong reputation in T20 cricket, especially with variations and composure in pressure overs. In T20I format, he has picked 55 wickets in 36 matches at an impressive average of 17.78, underlining his effectiveness in the shortest format.
