Jinder Mahal- Yuvraj Singh Dhesi
Jinder Mahal, better known as Yuvraj Singh Dhesi, is an Indian-origin wrestling professional who was born in Canada. Jinder Mahal debuted in WWE in 2010, but he really became famous in 2017.
In 2017, Mahal won the WWE Championship, becoming the second Indian wrestler to win a major championship in WWE. Mahal made his television debut in WWE on the April 29, 2011 episode of SmackDown, and also debuted in NXT the same year. During his prime days in WWE, Jinder Mahal faced top-tier opponents like Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, The Khali and Brodus Clay. He was also a part of the 3MB faction which included fellow wrestlers Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre.
Jinder Mahal appeared in WrestleMania 30 in 2014, Mahal took part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but was eliminated by Mark Henry. That same year, WWE released his contract.
Singh Brothers
The Singh Brothers, Gurvinder and Harvinder Sihra, are a tag team of Indian origin who were a popular name in the history of WWE. The pair represented India and made their WWE debut in 2016, and since then, they have become fan favourites. Singh Brothers have given many memorable moments and action-packed performances in WWE. He appeared in many WWE shows like WWE Smackdown, WWE Championship, RAW and NXT. The Singh Brothers have been involved in the feud between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton in 2017.
He also played a key role in Mahal’s championship reign, often interfering in their matches and helping them defend their titles. The Singh Brothers have won the WWE 24/7 Championship multiple times and have had memorable matches against some of WWE’s top tag teams.
Saurav Gurjar
Sourav, under the new ring name Sanga, was another great wrestler in the WWE arena. He is not only a professional wrestler but also an Indian TV personality. Gurjar signed a contract with WWE on January 14, 2018.
He made his first televised appearance as a participant in Worlds Collide Men’s Battle, where Gurjar and Rinku Singh attacked Matt Riddle, with Malcolm Bivens serving as their manager. Gurjar also competed in the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship, which he won and retained respectively at NXT’s The Great American Bash.
Sanga was promoted to the main roster of the Raw brand in the 2023 WWE Draft. Sanga made his Raw debut on May 15 by defeating local talents like Drake Thompson and LaVar Barbee in a tag team match with Veer.
Veer Mahan – Rinku Singh Rajput
34 year old Rinku Singh Rajput is known as ‘Veer Mahan’ in WWE. Earlier, Rinku was a professional baseball player and later he signed a WWE contract in 2018. In his WWE Raw career, Veer has defeated Mysterios and other local wrestlers in different matches.
