‘Torture’ of cold in Haryana! IMD issues big alert for January 11, read before leaving home
Severe cold and cold wave will prevail in most parts of Haryana on Sunday, January 11. According to Meteorological Department (IMD) data, the maximum temperature on Sunday is expected to be 13°C and the minimum temperature will be 4°C. In the morning, there may be moderate to dense fog in many areas of the state, due to which visibility is likely to be very low.
The sky is expected to be clear and sunny during the day, which may provide some relief, but by nightfall the weather will again become partly cloudy. The wind speed is likely to be around 7 mph from the north-west direction, which may further increase the chill.

The humidity level in the air can remain up to 81%, due to which the feeling of cold will be more in the morning and evening. Although the chance of rain during the day is 0%, there is a 5% chance of light drizzle at night. Despite sunshine, ‘cold day’ like conditions will persist due to low maximum temperatures.
Caution advised
Due to dense fog, drivers on the roads have been advised to take special care and use fog lights. The elderly and children have been instructed to avoid the cold morning winds.
