Tottenham Keeper Vicario Out After Ankle Surgery

Tottenham Spurs’ goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario suffered an ankle injury in his previous English Premier League clash against Manchester City. He played towards the last 30 minutes with a broken bone, making crucial saves for the team.

Tottenham Spurs has been performing well in the English Premier League but the team recently suffered a setback in their previous game against Manchester City. Their goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario suffered an injury in his ankle and is expected to go for surgery regarding the same.

When the team went against the defending champions in their previous English Premier League game, they were able to win with an impressive margin of 4-0. This was also the third consecutive loss in this tournament for Manchester City, as the team aims for a comeback in the further matches.

Although Vicario played the complete match, he was seen stuttering in his movements while walking off the field after the match came to an end. Later, Tottenham Spurs were able to confirm that he had gone through surgery on his ankle, due to which he has also been sidelined for the next few games of the tournament.

An update regarding the injury was also given by Guglielmo Vicario, saying that he played with a broken bone towards the last 30 minutes of the game. Also, he was able to make five saves for the team while being injured during the game. The Spurs have not confirmed the estimated time taken by Vicario to mark his return.
