Administration warning
In view of the dangerous situation created by the heavy rains, the district administration, disaster management department and forest department have issued a very important appeal to the tourists. For the time being, the administration has requested that all plans to visit ghat roads, dams and waterfalls should be completely cancelled. Disasters such as flash floods, landslides or increased flow of water can occur in mountainous areas during monsoon. So don’t risk your life and your family’s life with the sound of reels or photos on social media. Collectors have appealed to the tourists to strictly follow the instructions given by the administration, not to believe any rumors and stay safe at home only by observing the official weather forecast.
Although banned by the administration, some tourists try to reach the waterfalls and forts through stealthy or hidden routes. Such people increase the risk of accidents. Hence, the police are now keeping a close watch on tourists who break the rules and sneak away. The administration has issued a stern warning that if anyone is caught doing so, they will be booked and direct police action will be taken. Tourism News
