New poster of Yash starrer movie released, teaser coming on February 20
The makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups have released a new poster announcing that the film’s teaser will be out on February 20 at 9:35 AM. The poster gives an early look at the film’s dark tone, hinting at a world shaped by violence and moral conflict. It shows Yash as Raya standing in the middle of a snowstorm streaked with blood. His face is partly hidden as he drinks from a bottle, surrounded by signs of destruction from unseen violence.
The teaser announcement comes as Toxic remains one of the most anticipated films in India, with the makers revealing characters gradually and sharing limited details. This approach has led to speculation among audiences about the film’s story, visuals, and characters. February 20 will be the first time viewers get a closer look at the film’s world through the teaser. To preserve the intended impact, the teaser will be released in only one language, allowing the visuals and atmosphere to stand on their own.

The final character reveal was Yash as Raya, whose line “Daddy’s home…” marks both his entry into the story and his return to theatres.
The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Geetu Mohandas. It has been shot at the same time in Kannada and English, and will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages, reflecting plans for a wide international release.
