Tragic bus accident in Chhattisgarh, passenger bus overturned after brake failure, 5 people died, 20 people injured
Chhattisgarh Bus Accident: The news of a painful road accident has come to light from Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. On Friday, a passenger bus suddenly went out of control and overturned on the Kardega-Kunkuri route. In this accident, 5 passengers died on the spot, while more than 14 people are said to be injured. After the incident, there was chaos in the area and the local people immediately got involved in relief work.
How did this tragic accident happen?
According to the information received, this passenger bus was going from Kardega towards Kunkuri. As soon as the bus reached near Godamba village of Kardega Chowki area, suddenly the driver lost control of the bus. Local people say that there is a possibility of brake failure of the bus. After losing control, the bus collided with the wall of an under-construction building on the roadside and overturned. As soon as the bus overturned, there was an outcry among the passengers and people nearby immediately reached the spot.
Local people started relief work
Immediately after the accident, the people present nearby started relief work, setting an example of humanity. He tried to rescue the passengers trapped in the bus and immediately informed the police and administration. Within some time, the police team reached the spot and the work of evacuating the injured safely started.
The injured were taken to hospital
On the instructions of the Chief Minister’s Office, the ambulance service was immediately activated. Three ambulances were sent to the spot, with the help of which the injured were taken to nearby hospitals. The injured have been admitted to Kunkuri Community Health Center and Holy Cross Hospital, where a team of doctors is treating them.

An innocent child was also among the dead
A small child is also said to be among the dead in this tragic accident, due to which there is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area. Police and administration teams are present at the spot and the cause of the accident is being investigated. Jashpur Chief Medical Officer (CMHO) GS Jatra has officially confirmed three deaths in preliminary information. He said that the death toll may also increase. At present, priority is being given to the treatment of the injured. However, according to local sources, so far five people have died in this accident.
Administration engaged in investigation
Considering the seriousness of this accident, the administration has started investigation. Police are trying to find out whether the brakes of the bus had failed or there was some other reason for the accident.
