TRAI gave great news to mobile users; Now SIM will remain active for many months without recharging

SIM Active Period without Recharge: After making recharge plans expensive by private telecom companies, there has been additional burden on the pockets of the users. Along with this, users remain worried that if they do not recharge immediately after the recharge is over, the SIM may get switched off. However, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has given great relief to the users by issuing some new rules in this matter.

Which company's SIM will remain active for how many months?

Jio SIM: Jio users can keep their SIM active for 90 days without recharging. During this period, incoming service on your number will remain active for 90 days. But, outgoing service will remain closed. At the same time, after completion of 90 days period, you will have to take a validity plan to keep your SIM active. Otherwise your number will be blocked.

Airtel Sim: The SIM card of Airtel users will remain active only for 60 days without recharge. During this period the number incoming service will remain active and outgoing service will remain closed. At the same time, validity plan will have to be taken after 60 days. Otherwise your number will be blocked.

Vi Sim: Vi users can keep their SIM card active for 90 days without recharge. During this period the number incoming service will remain active and outgoing service will remain closed. At the same time, to keep the SIM active after 90 days, a validity plan will have to be taken.

BSNL SIM: The SIM card of government company BSNL will remain active for maximum 180 days without recharge. During this period, incoming service will remain active on the user's number for 180 days after the recharge plan ends.

Note- If the users of Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL do not recharge for 180 days, then in this condition their number will be shifted to someone else. Therefore, get the recharge done within the stipulated period.
