Trailer of children’s favourite film ‘Snow White’ released

The famous story of Snow White is well-known to almost every child and the first film adaptation was made in 1937. Now, the trailer for the second film in the series has been released, which will be in theaters next year.

Based on a screenplay by Erin Cressida Wilson and Greta Gerwig, Snow White will be released in cinemas on March 21, 2025.

The trailer, released on Tuesday, reveals that Gal Gadot plays the role of the Queen while Rachel Zegler portrays the Disney princess Snow White.

The 2-minute 26-second trailer begins with Zegler’s character reflecting on how her stepmother, the Evil Queen took over the kingdom after her father’s death. As Gadot’s Evil Queen reigns supreme, Snow White is pushed into darkness.

To make things worse for Snow White, the Evil Queen’s magical mirror tells her that her stepdaughter is the fairest of them all. To escape the Evil Queen’s clutches, Snow White runs into the forest where she encounters seven dwarfs.

Together with the dwarfs, the princess embarks on a journey to reclaim control and save her kingdom.

The trailer ends with the Evil Queen disguised as an old woman offering Snow White a poisoned apple.

While many fans have praised Gadot as the Evil Queen, Zegler has faced significant criticism for her portrayal of Snow White. Additionally, the use of CGI for the dwarfs has been criticized on social media.
