Train Cancelled: Passengers please pay attention! These trains were canceled due to dense fog
Train Cancelled: Today, on the first day of the New Year 2026, while the entire country is in a celebratory mood, the problems of railway passengers are not showing signs of diminishing. Dense fog in North India continues to affect railway operations. Even on January 1, dozens of trains including Rajdhani, Duronto and Superfast trains are running late by several hours, due to which passengers are facing a lot of problems.
The situation on the Delhi-Howrah rail route has remained very bad for the last two weeks. Almost all major mail and express trains including Patna Tejas Rajdhani, Sealdah Express, Bhubaneswar Rajdhani, Howrah Rajdhani passing through Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction are continuously running late. This trend continued even on the first day of the new year and the passengers could not get any relief.

Due to sudden cancellation of trains, passengers are facing problems in making alternative arrangements.

Anand Vihar-Agartala Tejas Rajdhani Express passing through Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction is running late by about 8 hours, New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express by 13 hours, Sampoorna Kranti Express by 11 hours and Mahabodhi Express by about 12 hours.
Apart from this, Brahmaputra Mail, Magadh Express, Purushottam Express, Sampark Kranti, Amrit Bharat and many special trains are also late by 2 to 18 hours.
The situation has worsened due to severe cold and cold wave. While passengers are reaching their destinations late due to trains not arriving on time, the problems of passengers waiting for hours at the stations are clearly visible.
Railway administration has advised the passengers to check the status of the train and be careful, but at present there is little chance of getting relief due to dense fog.
