New Delhi. From January 1, 2026, the new time table will be implemented in 70 railway divisions including 18 zones of Indian Railways. In view of this, South Eastern Railway is going to make major changes in its passenger operations.
According to information received from railway sources, the timetable of many major trains is being amended from January 1, 2026. Under this change, there will be a difference of 5 to 10 minutes to 1 hour in the time of trains departing from Chakradharpur railway division and ending here.
Railways has clarified that this revised timetable is being implemented for operational ease and technical reasons. Passengers can get detailed information about the new timetable through Railway’s inquiry number 139, National Train Inquiry System (NTES) app or the official website of Railways.
Passengers traveling after January 1 have been advised to reach the station as per the updated schedule instead of the time mentioned on their tickets.
