Travis Scott unveils how Christopher Nolan approached him for ‘The Odyssey’

Travis Scott worked with Christopher Nolan in ‘Tenet’ before ‘The Odyssey’

Travis Scott has shared the moment he received the offer to play a pivotal role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

The 35-year-old did not only act in the film but he also lent his vocals for a song called, When I’m Home.

Even though, he is widely-known as an American rapper, but surprisingly he was offered the role before the song.

Travis recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonwhere he recalled the moment he received a called from The Dark Knight director. He initially thought the director is calling him maybe because he wants to go to a show.

Scott shared, “I picked up and he’s like, ‘would you be interested in acting in a movie’ and I’m like, ‘I mean, I guess you know like what’s the…”

“I thought it might be for somebody else. Like, you know? Maybe he is producing something, or something I don’t know.”

Nolan told Scott that he hasn’t really told people much about his new project, but is coming out soon.

The Goosebumps singer then told Oscar-winning director if he remembers that he makes music and is not an actor.

Nolan, who had previously worked with Scott in Tenetmade him recall why he really enjoyed his time on the movie with the director.

Travis accepted the offer while admitting that he considered the Interstellar maker his mentor.
