Trent Boult is a left-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batsman from New Zealand. He played for the national team from 2011 to 2024 in all formats and was part of the squad that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. He also played in the Cricket World Cup finals in 2015 and 2019, where New Zealand finished as runners-up.
Boult made his Test debut in December 2011 and his ODI debut in July 2012. He was the joint leading wicket-taker in the 2015 World Cup. Trent Boult Personal Life
Trent Boult was born in 1989 in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, and has Māori heritage from the Ngāti Porou and Ngāi Te Rangi tribes. He grew up playing cricket in his backyard with his older brother Jono. His father also encouraged his love for cricket. Boult is married and has two young children.
Trent Boult played his first Test in December 2011 against Australia in Hobart and helped New Zealand win their first Test in Australia since 1985.
