Trial of Punjab teams for All India Services Table Tennis Tournament to be held on 31st December

All India Services Table Tennis : All India Services Table Tennis (Men & Women) Tournament is being organized by Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board from 12 to 16 January, 2026 at Table Tennis Hall, Sector-23, Chandigarh, Punjab. Trials for Punjab men’s and women’s table tennis teams will be held on December 31 at 11 am at Polo Ground, Patiala.

Table tennis trials open for public sector employees

Giving further information, Sports Department spokesperson said that employees of security services/paramilitary forces/central police organizations/police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP and NSG etc., employees of autonomous institutions/undertakings/public sector banks and even banks run by central ministries can participate in these trials.

Ban on participation for daily wage and temporary workers

However, employees working on raw/daily basis, employees working temporarily in offices and newly appointed employees who have been working in regular services for less than six months will not be eligible to participate. Additionally, regular government employees of various departments will be able to participate only after obtaining NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their respective departments.

All expenses incurred on travel, accommodation and food etc. in this tournament will be borne by the players themselves.
