Triple Schezwan Rice Recipe Restaurant Style Indo-Chinese Rice at Home
Triple Schezwan Rice A very popular Indo-Chinese dish, which is especially popular in street food and restaurants. It is named “triple” because it is a combination of three things – fried rice, hakka noodles and spicy. Schezwan Gravy. This dish is spicy, spicy and very flavourful, which is especially perfect for those who like spicy food. If you want to get restaurant-like taste at home, then this recipe is perfect for you.
For fried rice
- Basmati rice = 1 cup (boiled)
- Oil = 2 tbsp
- Garlic = 1 tsp (finely chopped)
- Ginger = 1 tsp (chopped)
- Green chilli = 1
- Carrot = ½ cup (chopped)
- Cabbage = ½ cup
- Capsicum = ½ cup
- Soy sauce = 1 tbsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Black pepper = ½ tsp
🔹For noodles
- Hakka Noodles = 1 cup (boiled)
- Oil = 1 tablespoon
- Garlic = 1 tsp
- Soya sauce = 1 tsp
- Schezwan sauce = 1 tbsp
🔹For Schezwan Gravy
- Oil = 2 tbsp
- Garlic = 1 tablespoon
- Ginger = 1 tsp
- Schezwan sauce = 2 tbsp
- Tomato sauce = 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce = 1 tsp
- Vinegar = 1 tsp
- Corn flour = 1 tablespoon (dissolved in water)
- Salt = as per taste
- Water = 1 cup
🔹 Alternative (Non-Veg)
- Chicken (boiled/fried) 1 cup
🔸 1. Making fried rice
First of all, heat oil in a wok or pan. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and fry. Now carrots in it, Cabbage Add capsicum and fry on high flame for 2-3 minutes. After this add boiled rice and mix well. Now add soya sauce, salt and black pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Yours Fried Rice Is ready.
🔸 2. Preparing noodles
Now heat some oil in a pan. Add garlic to it and fry it lightly. Then add boiled hakka noodles and add soya sauce and schezwan sauce and mix well. Cook while stirring for 2–3 minutes. Noodles are ready.
🔸 3. Making Schezwan Gravy
Now heat oil in a separate pan. Add garlic and ginger and fry until aroma comes out. Now add Schezwan sauce, tomato sauce and soya sauce. Mix well.
Now add water to it and let it boil. After this add corn flour solution and keep stirring so that the gravy becomes thick. Finally add salt and vinegar and mix. Your spicy schezwan gravy is ready.
🔸 4. Preparing Triple Schezwan Rice
Now take a serving plate. Put a layer of fried rice at the bottom. Put noodles on it. Now add prepared Schezwan gravy on top. If you are making non-veg then you can also add chicken pieces on top.
🔸 5. Decoration and serving
Now garnish with green onions and serve hot. The hotter this dish is, the more delicious it tastes.
Serve Triple Schezwan Rice hot. You can serve it in evening meal, party or special dinner. Chilli Paneer or Manchurian goes very well with it.
- Boil the rice beforehand and cool it, this will prevent it from sticking.
- Do not overcook the vegetables, keep them slightly crunchy.
- Increase or decrease the quantity of Schezwan sauce as per your taste.
- Cooking on high flame gives restaurant like taste.
- For non-veg version, you can also add chicken or egg.
