Buying Triumph bikes will be expensive from June 1, prices may increase from Speed 400 to Scrambler
Triumph Motorcycle Prices Increase June 1: If you are also planning to buy Triumph Motorcycles’ 400 series bike as a new bike, then this special news can affect your budget. It is being told that the company is preparing to increase the prices of its popular 400 range motorcycles soon. It is being told that from June 1, 2026, bikes like Triumph Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC and Thruxton 400 are going to become expensive. But till now the company has not made any official announcement regarding this.
Price may increase by 5 thousand to 10 thousand rupees
It is being said in the information that the company can increase the price by Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 according to different models. After which the customers who were waiting to buy a new Triumph bike may have to spend more money. The interesting thing in this whole matter is that till a few months ago these same bikes had become cheaper. But now again the discussion of price increase has troubled bike lovers.
The company had reduced the prices after the GST change.
Let us tell you that in September last year, the government had reduced the GST rate on bikes up to 350cc to 18 percent. To take advantage of this, Triumph updated its 400 range earlier this year. In this, the company replaced the old engine with a 349cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine so that it could take advantage of the new tax category. Whereas the prices of bikes like Scrambler 400 and Thruxton 400 saw a reduction of Rs 10 to 11 thousand.
Now prices can reach old level again
It is being told that if the new reports coming out prove to be true then the benefits received by the customers will not last long. In which after the price increase, the prices of these bikes will become almost the same as before. Which simply means that the company definitely got tax benefits by reducing the engine size but now due to increasing costs or market strategy the prices may go up again.
But for now, let us tell you that Triumph Speed T4 is one of the cheapest bikes whose ex-showroom price is around Rs 1.95 lakh. Along with this, know that before this there was no reduction in the price of this model.
